Gamelan Artha Negara needs your help...
Last year we had a successful Indie-go-go Campaign raising enough money to have an original set of instruments built for us in Bali, Indonesia. Now, we need additional funds in order to ship the set of instruments to the United States. Please consider helping us with this project. Donations can be made via our PayPal button on the right side of this page or better yet, directly to our email account via your bank (I know through our bank, Wells Fargo, you can do this by using something called "Sure Pay").
We are avoiding using a 3rd party transaction this time due to the % they skim off the top of donations. We will need approximately $10,000 to get the set shipped to us.
Our performance group is for the people, for the community, to educate people about Balinese culture, bring awareness to the endangerment of the Giant Bamboo forest in Bali, and of course to make people happy!!! This set of gamelan jegog instruments will long outlive us... We look forward to sharing our music, dance, and culture with you and future generations to come.
